Privacy Policy
Last updated: [DATE]. Operated by [COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS], [CONTACT EMAIL].
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and a hashed password.
- Salon data: products, prices, suppliers, stock counts and orders you enter.
- Phone alerts (optional): if you turn on low-stock alerts, a technical address for your phone/browser that lets us send you notifications. Turn them off any time in Settings.
- Feedback (optional): messages you choose to send us.
- Service records: the service type, the products used, and a client first name or initials only.
What we do NOT collect
This app is built not to store client full names, phone numbers or email addresses. The service log only accepts letters for a first name or initials. Please never enter client contact details or health information.
How we use it
- To run the app: stock levels, reorder lists, cost reports.
- To email the salon owner a weekly low-stock summary (can be turned off in Settings).
Emails we send you
Account emails (confirming your address, sign-in links, password resets, payment problems) are always sent. We also send tips and free-trial reminders to account owners; you can turn these off in Settings or with the link at the bottom of each one.
[ATTORNEY REVIEW: confirm the wording for marketing-style emails (CAN-SPAM) and the unsubscribe mechanism.]
Support access
If you ask for help, the operator can look up your account details (email, plan, trial and billing status, how recently you used the app, and counts such as how many products you have). Support tools do not show your products, suppliers or client first names. They can send you a password-reset or confirmation email, extend a trial, export your data at your request, or delete your data at your request. Every such action is logged, and support access requires a second sign-in step.
[ATTORNEY REVIEW: confirm this paragraph matches what you want to promise.]
What the operator sees
To support and bill customers, the operator of this service receives aggregate usage counts (for example how many accounts, services logged, scans and emails were sent) and each account owner's contact details (email address, plan and billing status). The operator does not receive your products, suppliers, team members or any other salon data through this reporting.
[ATTORNEY REVIEW: confirm this wording, the lawful basis, and any required disclosures.]
Who processes it
[Neon] (database), [Vercel] (hosting), [Resend] (email delivery). Update this list to match what you use.
Your choices
- Export: owners can download all salon data from Settings.
- Delete: use “Delete my account and data” in Settings. Deleting an owner account that is the only owner deletes the salon's data.
- Offline copy: the app keeps a copy of your product list on your device so it works without signal. Signing out clears it.
